I don’t think this particular game would win the GOTY awards. But it certainly has a decent shot at winning some kind of community outreach award. But time will tell.

Of course as much as I love the game, it has tough competition. Games that have been successful such as Palworld, Nightingale, Hell divers 2, Enshrouded, (all I can think of right now) and more. Let’s hope for Last Epoch to be up there.

As much as I love seeing LE succeed, LE in its current state (even discounting the server issues), is not ARPG of the year, much less goty. There’s much work to be done for LE, but it’s certainly off to a promising start.

Helldivers 2 will probably take GOTY. Its crazy popular right now unless something comes out later this year that knocks it off its mantle

I wouldnt call nightingale successful the game isnt very good in its current state in my opinion and i love survival craft games.

I haven’t played that game myself but I have friends that talk about it quite often. And I see videos constantly on it as well. I don’t really play games like that either maybe it’s just the internet algorithm giving me info since it’s new. Who knows. But yeah hell divers 2 has been doing pretty well since launch. Minus their server issues as well.

I am actually pretty sure Diablo 4 is going to win game of the year. That game had stellar graphics, a fantastic plot, and some of the most engaging combat I have ever seen. In addition, their microtransaction shop breathes a breath of fresh air into the grim world of hell. They have some of the most unique and immersive assortments of armors I have ever seen. Their wonderful community driven multiplayer system is also spectacular with their world boss system and lovely global chat. The itemization and endgame is par to none. And did I mention one of the best skill trees we have ever seen? This one is a no brainer. Im gonna have to give it to Diablo 4 and the Blizzard team for providing such a fantastic event for players across the globe.

I had been excited for Nightingale for quite some time. Had it wishlisted for a long time to. I was pretty disappointed with it. Im hoping it gets alot better throughout early access but I dont really think its worth sinking time into right now. Ive been sinking my time into Last Epoch :stuck_out_tongue:
