So i got this staff and wondering if its any good at all for any build and is it worth combining it with some exalt staff but im guessing its not?

The affixes you want are:poison damage prefix, damage over time for minions suffix, minion melee damage suffix

yes, you should get those mods(if you want to play skeleton rogues(necromancer class using summon skeleton)
i doubt il do necromancer build im already doing lich one also i just got another 3LP called quicksilver coil ring and its for ranger build clearly now that im interested in becuz i wanted do ranger build is that ring like a good unique for that build is it worth combining it with exalt
Quicksilver Coil is way more a Bladedancer Item than a Marksman Item.
Marksman can already hit 100% crit chance without any issues, because you can get 100% chance to afflict critical strike vulnerability (which you could technically also get as BD)
But for a BD, this ring is way better, because you can focus on raw damage and crit multi instead.
It’s also a spear not a staff.
I tried that spear and got nothing good from it, trying to optimise it but gave up after maybe an hour. The poison leech didnt seem to work either but then again they did zDPS, even spamming Harvest so not surprising
I also tried Dragonflame Edict (ignite minion staff) a long time ago that wasnt good either, infact the only time I ever had success with a dot minion build was the second build I ever made in this game was Wolf/Raptor and Raptor had a consume bleed stacks node which got removed - that build could kill the training dummy easily and everything in the game instantly as soon as Raptor hit - there was no major timeline bosses back then infact dont remember any at all and just endless monoliths…
what mods i should be looking for then on a exalt ring? to combine it with quicksilver coil
That highly depends on your build, but I would focus on defensive affixes, because offensively, the ring is already excellent.
Anything like: Resistances, Endurance, Endurance Threshold, HP, CSA
