When I got to level 58 this game started to bore me. Even though it was my first time playing he still felt too easy for me and I had no motivation to pick up items on the ground because I didn’t need to boost to grind. It was as if any loot that was generated was meaningless to me.
I will give some options to address the above issues.
A good game should feel mysterious and powerful right from the start. level 58 onwards should increase the difficulty with every copy you pass, only death and difficulty will spur the player on to improve further, and with the upcoming auction house this will make the game interesting. Instead of now, I don’t have any desire to pick up loot.
Increasing the usefulness of gold, such as a large gold consumption would expand the player’s backpack, not just the warehouse. One thing you have to understand is that this game produces a lot of gear and it can be frustrating when the vast majority of the loot you produce can’t be picked up. A large amount of gold to get a large backpack would allow the player to take all the loot produced home and take their time researching it, rather than playing and looking at it one at a time and going blind.
You should know that the vast majority of the time as the game progresses equipment is useless, so you can add an equipment synthesis furnace. Lots of gold will get you lots of backpacks, lots of backpacks will get you lots of loot, lots of loot will get you lots of useless loot, and lots of useless loot will allow us to reuse it to synthesize new gear. You can tone down the possibility of synthesizing the very best items, which is better than losing them.
Add some extremely difficult copies, when the copy is cleared you can encounter a mystery merchant, who can buy a lot of runes for a lot of gold. You’ve done an excellent job forging your gear, but there are so few ways to get runes.
I’ve only just reached level 58 and I’ll keep giving my advice on this game. I’m sure if you take my advice you can stabilise your online numbers to around 50,000.
