There was a Golden Scorpion shrine right next to my starting location in an echo and when I clicked on it, nothing happened. It likely was because the rest of the echo still had some loading to do and perhaps the activation of the shrine happened before the game was ready to render and apply its effects.
I have been unable to reproduce this issue, as unhelpful as that is.
I just experienced this bug while playing online.
Edit: The next shrine of scorpions I found spawned them as normal.
Found it again (0.9.0G2). The similarity between the original time I posted the bug and now was that the shrine appeared at the very beginning of the echo.
Perhaps this shrine isn’t fully initialized by the time we reached it. This instance was online.
Confirm the issue. I started an echo in The Black Sun, the map was Buried City and the shrine was right there where I started. Clicked expecting the scorpions and… nothing.
Just happened in 0.9j, wish I had video to share with you on it.
