I would love to see the ability to get prophecy’s that have to be completed in a group to generate resonances with friends. It would be a cool way to generate mini-quests to accomplish in order to generate the gifting currency

Sounds cool and fun, is there more incentive to using them and manual trade feature? Does playing in parties and trading through this override the CoF locked items?
Right now they drop when you play with other players, but the drop rate for Obsidian Resonances is pretty abysmal
Does it allow you to all items to other players? Never used it
I finally got another obsidian resonance for my spouse today. It fell in some stairs and there was no way for me to pick it up 
It’s beam was there… taunting me.
The drop rate of resonances just fine, why would you need prophecy? Just play in group.
Also would make it to easy and most importantly predictable to get one.
This would make RMT too easy.

golden resonance allows giving all items but uniques and exalted. Uniques and exalteds require obsidian resonance
I play with my spouse a LOT.
We are always hoping for obsidian resonance. The last two times I got one for him… they fell into stone stairs and there was no way for me to pick them up. This has been… very upsetting. He has several for me but … chalk it up to to current grouping issues I guess.
You dont need resonance to gift an item that dropped while you were in party though. If you play together a lot, thats not really a problem. While you play solo, you can, for example, save monolith echoes with sweet exalted or unique rewards, and quickly do them later together to have a 2x chance for a fitting drop. Same goes for prophecies. Happy hunting!
That is incorrect.
Golden are for everything except Uniques with LP and exalted items.
They do include uniques without LP.
Obsidian are required for exalted items and Uniques with LP
I am aware of how the game basics work, including this, but thanks for the thought.
I know that but it sounds to me so CoF items can be traded?
