Gold PUR and Outdated Skill Graphics

I’m having a great time so far in this new cycle but there are a couple things that stick out to me while playing my Marksman.

Firstly, the amount of running around to pick up gold still feels quite bad.
I’m constantly going quite out of the way to collect gold even when the piles look like they are close together.
The shard clicking and vacuum is great and only have to click a 2nd time, and rarely at that. The gold collecting could use a slightly larger auto-collect.

A lot of the skills since I’ve last played over a year ago look amazing, like Disintegrate.

However, there are some skills on my Marksman I have no interest in playing as they look quite unrefined/outdated.
Multishot projectiles look like very thick and very bright cylindrical-like projectiles.
Detonating Arrow, and especially the poison convert option also looks similar to Multishot, but smaller.

I cant speak for every other skill in the game yet, but I am hoping graphical quality of skills is something that is always being looked at?

Imo they should make the pets gather the gold…i find it abit “meh” to run around and gather yourself all the gold.But that’s just me… :smiley:

I just ignore gold piles. I only pick up the ones that are in my way. I don’t go out of my way to pick them up ever. Nor do I feel like I’m missing out because of that.

I should adopt that philosophy. Still tho, it’d be nice to have slightly more radius, esp at low levels where shatters are scarce.

Sure, but usually the piles that are out of your way are mostly white trash mobs. Rares and champions tend to get closer, so you tend to pick those higher value gold piles more often. Especially when there’s a drop you want to pick up anyway.

So, relatively speaking, the random piles of gold left to the side outside the radius aren’t really relevant. Especially not worth wasting time going out of your way to get when you could be getting a new pile from a new mob instead. :stuck_out_tongue:
