Do they exist anymore? No matter the number of experimental gear I rune, I cannot get one to drop?

They definitely exist, I’ve been getting quite a few farming them.
By “dropping” I hope you mean as a result of using Rune of Research? Because Glyph of Insight do not drop randomly from mobs.
On top of that, the chance for one dropping is higher for higher affix tier items, So crafting affixes and increasing affix tier on experimental items before using Rune of Research helps getting them.
I max craft all experimental gear as much as possible before using a rune. I haven’t seen a glyph drop in my last 20-30 attempts. EHG RNG I guess
All of mine were gained by using the rune of research. The drop rate with this method feels like 50% or so.
-Can you confirm you are using rune of research and NOT rune of removal or shattering??
I never upgrade any experimental piece before using a rune of research on it and feel that I get the insight thingy about 30% of the time. For SURE not the 50% rate suggested above my post, just my rng I guess.
Yeah, this is the only way to get this item.
