When using shift+rmb to move them into your stash, and when using the stash sort glyphs and runes should automatically stack. It feels a little clumsy having to drag and drop them onto each other every time.

You can transfer glyphs, shards, runes in to crafting âstashâ so it wonât take your inventory or stash space.
From your character inventory below Idol slots there is button âtransfer crafting itemsâ
After that they can be found from crafting window
Default key is âFâ

That may explain why I never had anything available to craft with.
