  1. An /away command so when someone whispers it lets them know “PlayerX is away”.
  2. A ‘notes’ selection by right-clicking someone’s name. ~1000 characters that you can type anything you want about them, and only you can read it.

Playing again today, have another idea for the chat:

  1. Allow ‘triple click’ to copy + paste the entire text of any single message in the chat box. Goes for displayed messages and especially the message I type in the input field.

Right now it’s a PITA to highlight a single, entire message. Doing this is more important to me than people would expect.

  1. Make the chat box moveable to any location.

  2. Give the option to keep it visible at all times.

  3. Allow us to adjust the opacity of it, the text, and the UI.

  4. Ability to TAG a player with “@PlayerX” in chat. creates a sound and/or visual notification that they’ve been mentioned. Could also turn their own username a new color while they’re tagged, so they can see quickly.

All good ideas, worth keeping.
I think a full rework of the chat is in progress, to include items linking and other features, but I don’t know any detail.
Andrew or Llama would know more I am sure…
