I don’t think these should even be a thing. When your hard-core toon dies it should instantly become a soft-core character. Ghost characters are a total loss if you’re still want to land on the ladder or boards… Please remove this “Ghost” status from the game.

I never tested… when a hero is a ghost, they just become standard softcore hero? Or do they have something special, other than being called “ghost”?
I’ve done HC in every game I’ve played but haven’t yet in LE. when you say ghost do you mean the character is still there in the character menu but you can no longer play the character because it died in HC?
If so, that’s kind of the point of HC otherwise it’s just SC with one extra step.
If that isn’t what you’re referring to I’d be curious what you’re seeing that’s a ghost.
I don’t know how to simplify this. HC char scores on HC leader boards, SC char scores on SC leader boards. When your HC character dies it technically turns into a SC char which SHOULD score on SC leader boards? No its neither SC or HC but instead a “GHOST”. Honestly doesn’t matter if you don’t care about leader boards or rankings, but most end game players in games like these do.
