General steam issue reminder if your LE download does not show up when the patch is released.
Open task manager manually end task steam. Wait a second, and then reopen steam.
I cant say it will need to be done just reminding in-case it does.

Yeah this is weird I have 100s of steam games and LE is the only one that doesnāt always auto DL any patch big or small. I can task kill or exit out and reopen and itāll then download but before then itāll just open the game and tell me data is missing. I have no idea why everything is setup identical. Steam trolls lol
You donāt actually need to use task manager for this. You can simply open steam and choose exit from the menu. It will also close it.
The issue is simply delay in the update showing up on the list. This happens with many games for me. Sometimes a new patch is released and Iāll get it immediately, sometimes Iāll have to close it for it to show.
Iāve had this happen for both PoE1 and 2, as well as a few other unrelated games.
for me i need to do the full shut down not just close it
If you choose exit from the steam menu, it will do the same thing as force shutting down the process, which is to close the process.
And I mean going to menu Steam > Exit, not just clicking the āXā on the window, which just minimizes it.
It always works for me, although every now and then the update will still require closing steam 2 or 3 times (same thing happens with task manager as well).
Either should work just the same.
