There is none, the system is one utter entire mess.
Early on you’ll have ridiculous upsides in MG. Uniques easy to acquire, even LP variants of some of them are basically worthless, entirely. Other items nobody expects are extremely high priced because nobody can properly price check and people hence either list everything randomly or not at all.
Later on you easily see the limitations. Base uniques are accessed easily, more rare uniques with high LP on the other hand become unaffordable, very rare uniques even without LP. You’ll never go beyond T7 + T6 at the maximum for your items, and even finding the fitting combination of that is a very hard task and might not happen at all.
In comparison in CoF you’ll struggle to initially acquire items, the progression is spiky, you can search for 100 hours for a core item needed as the target farming options are not pronounced enough to divert the RNG. But at the absolute end-game you’ll shine. 2 T7 + T6? Doable! It drops! It exists! But uniques will be a major issue most of the time, as well as getting ‘the right’ exalted item rather then just good ones for another build.
Generally fix your gear up with 4 T5 rares, ignore T6 exalteds until you get that done properly unless one drops which is specifically fitting for your build. Uniques without LP suffice.
And yes, always farm the blessings which provide resistances to be able to switch gear easier should it be needed. It can help a lot.
Then it’s LP crafting as well as exalted farming.
First acquire the ones which will likely be needed (resistances), when acquired max the ones you use. Then go for the ones potentially needed while progressing, then when no uniques from bosses are needed just max everything for the heck of it.
Yes, basically.
Optimally rolled idols, better rolls, more exalted fitting with your gear, higher LP.°
Likely both to be fair.
After the initial progression the game suddenly ‘stops’ providing you with even a remotely close cadence of equipment upgrades. From *I found my last upgrade 5 hours ago’ it immediately goes into ‘I’ll find my next one in likeyl 100 hours’ easily. That part of the game is still iffy to say the least.
A good loot filter will help to find the right items and not miss out absolutely though, that’s a absolute priority.
