When you Take the Node Loganian Diplomacy into the Gathering Storm skill tree, the skill in the skill bar not change and still show Gathering storm and not only Storm Bolt. So the tool tip showing the DPS become wrong and will show better DPS with melee weapon despite the fact that the skill now have no more mele damage and became a different one since it only cast at Strom Bolt at distance. you need to enter into the skill tree of gathering storm and go to Loganian diplomacy to have the correct DPS of your current staff.
