Gatekeeping player progression with "mechanics"

So I been at this for an entire week and some days, from morning till evening, and I can say without a doubt that these so-called systems intended to respect players time are shit. I’ve been stacking all these loot systems to farm for specific items for multiple days, exalts to slam and uniques, and not a single exalted item I’ve tried to farm for came even remotely close to what was imprinted. For the uniques, that worked occasionally, for whatever reason couldnt get anything of 2LP or higher of whatever I had imprinted, even trying to farm more common unique for multiple LP and nothing to show for an entire week. I know devs say the goal shouldnt be max gear, but thats only gatekeeping people from pushing corruption or trying new builds. And I’ve said this before but the farsight turtle stripping away lp has to be the most downer bullshit in this game. As if drops coudlnt get worse, you add a mechanic to take away possible upgrades. And the bricking, thats a lot needlessly stacked against the player progression.

P.S I dont need advice from people on what to do or using nemesis or whatever; I’ve been doing this all week you’d think target farming would drop something remotely useful, but something’s up and without a reward theres no reason to play. I’d think they’d get better retention if gear RNG wouldn’t be so c*ckblocking

I love that feature. It gives me a way to take an item with 1 legendary potential, which is basically trash, and remove it so I can empower the item through a Nemesis and hopefully make it a legendary.

What were you looking for / expecting to find?
