Hi, i was grinding Gaspar (the last ruin mono) for almost 2 month looking for RV (no look yet), and a i “discover” 2 bugs, both related to the moment when gaspar say “My magic has no equal”
If you slow gaspar before he say those words, he start the “elementals desintegrate tornado” (dont know its name jaja) in place (no center) and teleport to center, from that moment to death never cast the skill again, he still says the words but the skill no
If you kill Gaspar in the exact moment when he is teleporting to center, drops items twice, one in the place previous to teleport and one more time in the center
I saw the first bug many times, it´s, in fact, easy to see. The second only happens one time, i think i kill him more than 100 times.
RV is probably the rarest item in the game, so i dont think you should be specifically farming for it - you are probably just gonna be disappointed and frustrated. I have probably over 1000h since it was added to the game and only have 1.
Gaspars problem with duplicating drops depending on teleporting at the exact moment you kill him is a known issue that the devs are aware of. There are a few variations on this and he is not the only boss that has this problem.
Afaik, The glitching of his skills is also a known issue but its been a while since anyone has mentioned it. I have personally experienced very odd interactions with him at a similar moment where especially when he says that mymagic line. With Strong builds i have been able to kill him fast but he continues his verbal cues and i have had similar experience when you use a cc skill on him - things like slow, stun, fear etc.
They havent indicated when its gonna be dealt with but i am pretty sure the devs are aware of the variations of the issues with gaspar and other bosses with similar quirks.
