Hello, im having fun for the most part with Last Epoch. After 300 hours with Last Epoch i have some feedback and a suggestions too make the game less on and off throught echoes which is what bothers me the most at the moment.
My suggestion is making loot drop from monster at a SIGNIFICANTLY lower rate than what we currently see and in return recieve more loot from the chest reward after finishing the echo. (Yes i use filters, its a must)
Im certain gameplay will become much smoother with this change, and secondly (speaking for myself atleast) main cause of death is trying too loot shiny drops in a hurry with immence amounts of missclicks and buggy functions with clicking while moving.
I personally would not like loot to be to much condensed into that one place.
Having random drops from monsters is one of the reasons I play these type of games.
Also trying to loot “in a hurry” is just a player behavior, that I don’t understand. Stressing yourself out and always going fast fast fast does not make me enjoy games.
I do like to take my time and don’t always rush.
Also dying while looting is something that never happened to me.
So I think it has a lot to do with how different player types play the game.
I would agree that the Item Labels could be bigger so miss clicking would be reduced.
Okay… guess i have dive slightly deeper then. I also want random drops like the other guy but its currently a bit littered.
“In a hurry” its just a player behaviour. Thats provoking, its not… dont like going fast for the sake of efficiency, iv matured over the years in gaming.
Having my ward drop means death, standing somewhat still trying to loot even crafting shards and idols could be a stun lock and a close shave from random offscreen casters or even from quest spires which also is designed to hurt you for standing still and taking your time… now add that up with a few missteps and none responsivness from time to time when clikcing on an item having the character run a completely diffrent direction from where i clicked on the item tag half a screen away is annoying enough for me to spend time posting on a forum. I think it coul be better.
I guess never really appriciated Diablo 3sGreater Rifts no item drop mechanics before now.
If the loot from monoliths primarily came from the chest at the end then it wouldn’t be affected by the monolith’s mf% (currently this is how it works).
There is precisely 2 mobs that can target you from offscreen and they have a fairly sizeable telegraphed aoe that winds up for a few seconds before doing damage, plus a few more that can hit you from offscreen if they are targeting a minion at the edge of your screen. All 4 are from Lagon’s area.
IMO, the devs have already given us the tools to be able to choose how distracted by loot we are if you want to be able to zoom zoom through the areas or not.
