Hello everyone, after many hours in this wonderful game, I would like to comment on some game quality improvements that I would like to see in the future and that I hope will help, they are the following: currently the t4 bosses in the dungeons can be kill almost in one hit, they last just a few seconds… something that hurts, I would like them to have phases and in each of them the boss would have immunity, so that people don’t kill them in one hit. The second improvement is that when When you die, they take away a bit of exp, after you enter the monolith, so it will give the game more excitement. (I can think of more game quality improvements but I think these are more important). Greetings and I hope you like it.
The death penalty I dont agree on.
Im sick of the stakes of death being “avoid doing hard content so you can level” which is extremely boring and anti player. Increasing the exp required is fine, it makes me play more but does not make me hate my time in game or push me to do something I dont wanna do for a reward(Exp without death)
As for the t4 bosses, this is just a balance problem. Some skills 1 shot them or run them over, some with some minmax beat them, some builds that can even push decent corruption levels struggle immensely with t4 bosses. Depending on the t4 boss, some builds just cant because a certain mechanic makes it nigh impossible.
They have spoken a bit about needing a pinnacle boss, and I think adding a t5 uber dungeon option wouldnt be that bad either.
But currently t4s I think are a perfectly acceptable “Work towards goal” for many players.
Are you really talking about T4? These builds that can explode T4 bosses I consider to be a “point outside the curb”.
It’s not the rule and it’s just a question of balancing some skills and some bugs that help some builds do more damage than planned.
Generally speaking these bosses offer great difficulty to many players and only top tier builds with good and/or specific gear can kill them really fast.
hello, it is not a question of lowering the damage to the skills, the build is good, but having the boss immunity for example: 80% of life gains immunity and a new skill and at 40% again immunity plus another new skill. From this way the experience in boss of t4 would be more rewarding.
hello, since there is no experience penalty, people play and get bored, or leave the character aside in this way it is an addition not dying to be able to increase the power, and it is simply easy not to die (unless you are in modes of high corruption).
That’s why people play and quit? I’ve played and quit because of ridiculous XP penalties. People quit for a lot of different reasons.
Balancing around a broken mechanic that forces everyone to play bleeding edge broken builds is why I, and many other, quit Path of Exile. I guarantee you if EHG starts balancing in that way, this game’s gonna take a huge hit.
Strange I see people who play the game for years and noone of them ever onshot Juria. Mind to post a video where you do stuff noone ever did?
I thought you you want to improve stuff and not go back to something that’s from the 80s from a P&P game called D&D. Death penelties as much as some people enjoy them are a big fudge up for a loooooooot of people.
Well I can’t see improvement here but I will change my mind most likely after the Video of the oneshot boss kills in T4 dungeons.
hello, well if you look for t4 julra on youtube you can see how there are several people who also kill it in just a few seconds (I also kill it quickly, it doesn’t phase). But I have already seen 2 videos where in 1 it lasts 3 seconds and in another 24 seconds
That isnt a one shot
Oneshot = pressing one button and she is dead.
Looked like quite a few casts to me though. Was it a quick kill? Absolutely! Was Julra one-shot? Nope.
Quick kills sure the balancing of the game is a mess. Oneshaot? Overexaggeration without any proof to artificaly proof a point without any substance at all.
Isn’t that video just demonstrating a bug abuse? The description literally says “Keep silent and abuse it.”
Nah people always think they invented the new best shit and have their ways to brag about it. The good old “Don’t tell anyone and use it while you can!” saying is as old as the internet but back then they exchanged pictures of… stuff… you know.
