Occasionally when attempting to start the game nothing happens. Checking task manager shows the last epoch process is running and is using CPU (see screenshot below), no window for the game appears. I am using steam, regular “online” mode, and attempting to run the game through the desktop shortcut.
Stopping the process using steam or the task manager, and attempting to the run the game again will usually work (and if not repeat as necessary and it will load).
Attaching the player.log of the failed load (and the Player-prev.log when it loaded fine).
Additionally attaching a minidump of the stuck process generated using process explorer (the dump file generated with task manager is too big).
Currently this reproduces occasionally for me, let me know if there is further information I can provide to help fix the issue.
EDIT: I also ran a “verify integrity of game files” through steam at no avail.
