Hello, I was reading through the extremely well put together game guide today to learn more about monoliths since I have reached that portion of the game.
I got to this paragraph on the Corruption and the Shade page/topic and found it very strangely worded.
Defeating Shade in a Timeline that has much lower corruption compared the Timeline with the highest corruption, making it much faster to progress corruption when moving between Timelines. The amount of Bonus Corruption defeating a Shade will be shown ion the Echo before entering it.
I luckily had seen a video on this that I think helped me understand what it is trying to explain? Perhaps something like this might be more illustrative of the point if I am understanding it correctly. (I will admit, I am unclear whether it should be âa Shadeâ, âthe Shadeâ, or just âShadeâ)
The amount of Bonus Corruption for defeating the Shade is increased based on the difference in the given Timeline and the Timeline with the highest corruption. For example, if you have a Timeline with corruption 250 and the Timeline you are defeating the Shade in has a corruption of 100 then the Bonus corruption will be much higher than if you were defeating the Shade in a Timeline with corruption 220.
(See reply from DJSamhein for proposed text)
I would also propose that the last sentence of the original text be kept and slightly reworded as a stand-alone statement.
The amount of Bonus Corrpution gained by defeating the Shade will be shown on the Echo before entering it.
I am sure even my wording could be improved as this is a somewhat difficult concept to explain.
