Solo Character in Offline mode. Start of Game in Ruined Era. When you leave the Council chambers Northeast and head toward the Precipice. At the end is a large worm boss fight. The Idol of Pain. Soon after starting fight, usually after the worm releases their first wave of minions and spreads out the moving “clouds”, the game stutters, freezes and stops responding. Once it actually crashed the game to a hard restart. Often there is a loud buzzing noise associated with the crash.
This has now happened eight time in a row. It doesn’t matter what the graphics settings are or if I have my second monitor running.
This DOES NOT happen as I play my online character. Only this character, offline and specifically at that point. I can backtrack anywhere and run around with abandon but, when I got to that area and start the fight it all comes to an end.
I verified my files twice, never anything found.
I have the latest graphics drivers.
I have no other controllers or anything else attached.
