What’s the point of postponing the game date because of fear of poe2? If a game is good, it’s played, if it’s shit, it’s not played, it’s that simple.

Yes and no. If both games release to close together and both are good or both are bad or whatever combination of those. The possible pool of people trying it out and playing will be split across them more then it would be when there is mroe time between them.
Even if LE is the best game ever and this update will make it “THE ULTIMATE GAME”, releasing close to another game in the same genre will always make the amount of players that play smaller.
If 2 weeks, at this stage of waiting like 9 months for an update, kills your enjoyment of the game… That’s on you, buddy.

Not to mention the power of a brand. Which is why D4 had such a successful launch even though, at that time, it was a bad game.
And PoE is a bigger brand than LE for now.

Did you really call the devs cowards because of this? 
EHG is a fraction of a fraction the size of GGG, they dont have the luxuries that being that size provides. Releasing a major content update the same time as the current ARPG crown holder does will end up disastrously.

To showcase that they know their market position and aren’t headless dimwits which rush into unwinable situations plainly spoken. As highlighted around 50 times ever since the delay was announced.
I would also love the world to be that simple. Would make things a lot easier.
Sadly the world isn’t that simple, hence things tend to be a lot more complex and bothersome.
To get a proper ‘stance’ back I recommend centering yourself, balance is important! 
As for why it would take away the enjoyment from the game is beyond my understanding. You can be worried about it or sceptical about future decisions… but taking the enjoyment away? That’s kinda odd.
Unless you expect companies to rush blindly forward without heeding what the situation is. In that case I recommend staying with the modern ‘AAA’ games, big publishers love to do that.
if EHG made the next season based around cowards i m most definitely playing it.
if you’ve changed your opinion of EHG solely because of that one act, maybe you can just not play the game or not buy anything from them.
