everytime I create a stash, log out, then comeback to the game, the stash disappeared. The strange thing is, when I comeback to the game, I have the same amount of money before buying the stash, however if I put an item in this stash, it will disappear when I launch the game. It means that I must play with only one stash…
I am returning player from 2021, so my character is legacy + offline. I have uninstall and install the game two times, check the files but it did nothing. I look on the internet and couldn’t find an answer to my issue, people seems to have bug with filters and things like that, but the only thing I did was just buying one new stash, that will disappear when I comeback to my character. I lost unique items this way…
So do you have any ideas on how can I solve it ? Otherwise how can I play with only one stash as a rogue blademaster then
Hi, first post here so apologies for any mistakes.
I basically had the same situation and issue with my stash. I bought the game in early access about 2 years ago, played for a few months, then put the game down until about a week ago. I noticed during my recent playtime that any changes I made to my stash (new tabs or categories, adding/removing items) would not save after logging out and back in. I still had items in my stash from my playtime years ago, but any changes I made would revert back after I logged out. However, my character (skills, passives, new equipment, and personal inventory) would all save normally.
I decided to test a few things, as it seemed like it was a cloud save issue, where my old stash save file was somehow prioritized over any changes I make. I tried turning off the cloud save option in Steam, but no luck there. Then I went to look at the offline character save files and noticed something interesting. A few files there still showed “last modified” dates of over 2 years ago, meaning they weren’t being updated. I tried to move those files to a backup folder elsewhere, and lo and behold the problem seems to be fixed!
TLDR version:
Problem: Offline stash isn’t saving any changes.
Possible fix to try: (involves removing some save files, so attempt at own risk)
Log into each offline character you have at least once (to force those files to update)
Check the offline save file location (C:/Users/username/AppData/LocalLow/EleventhHourGames/Last Epoch/Saves) for any files that have very old “last modified” dates.
Remove those very old files (back them up elsewhere, just in case).
In particular, I think my problem file was an old “1CHARACTERSLOT_BETA” that wasn’t being updated, but still somehow overwrote my stash every time I logged in.
I checked the save file and I found files from 2021, with an old file “1CHARACTERSLOT_BETA” same as you and I delete it.
HOWEVER after I remove those very old files, everytime I reload my character, those files appear again and I have the same issue with the stash. So I don’t know how or why the old files keep appear when I load my character…Back to square one
