I’m sure this has been brought up before, but gambling is more or less useless after a certain level. That also makes gold somewhat useless to a degree. Is there any plan for upping the item levels with the character level? I like the concept of gambling for loot at any level. I could be in the minority on this.
You used to be able to gamble the highest bases as long as you had the required level to see them. You could also gamble set and unique items. With the introduction of Soulfire Bastion however, they moved the ability to gamble for set and unique items over to the Soul Gambler in that dungeon. At the same time they capped the level at which items could spawn at the regular gambler to 40. The reason for this decision was likely twofold:
- They wanted to incentivise people running Soulfire Bastion to gamble for gear.
- They wanted to put more emphasis on finding loot while killing things out in the world, while at the same time promoting the interaction with their crafting system.
So no, they don’t intend to increase the level at which you can gamble gear from the regular gambler. It could of course change, but for the foreseeable future it most likely won’t.
Not so much. Lightless Arbor is a good gold sink and stash tabs also play into this. No doubt however that they’ll introduce more gold sinks in the future.
Yes, they capped it a level 40 a few years ago because they wanted most items to come from mob drops.
Stash tabs and the Lightless Arbour say hi.
Nope.
