Fury Leap + Sabertooth bugged interaction

Earlier today I filed a bug report ingame about the bugged interaction in Fury Leap’s node “Pack Leader” + Sabertooth.

Now after some further testing, I figured that the bug is getting triggered by the innate Leap Sabertooth has.

When I use Fury Leap, the Sabertooth will try and cast his innate Leap on the nearest enemy, instead of following me with the jump.
This happens regardless of the distance the nearest enemy is from the Tiger. If it’s too far, he’ll simply fly offscreen then come running back to me.

I was able to pinpoint this after trying to use the Heavy Paws node in Sabertooth tree.
This removes the innate Leap ability from the Tiger, then it always follow me consistenly after Fury Leap.

I see this has been reported a few times since 2021 at least, and someone actually even posted that the Heavy Paws node is a workaround on this thread in 2023:
