Fund raising to have LE on consoles

Can EHG give an estimated cost to have LE come to consoles? FundMe or Kickstarter or game packs or a combo of both.

My wife and kids love gaming on our Xbox and I want to share this game with them.

4 player couch co-op for offline play
drop-in, drop-out and be able to complete quests even though you may not be at the point - Diablo 3’s best quality.

I would literally pay just about any amount to have the game on console and enjoy it with family — not any funny business with multiple accounts to be registered (like D4).

What can we, as a community, contribute or do, to make this happen?

While having different platforms is something EHG is interested in and might not be too far off in the horizon.

Local Co-Op is something entirely different. I don’t think we will see this anytime soon if ever.
And if they would bring it, it would probably come after console releases, because something like this would probably push console release waaaaaaay back, if they waited for it to be ready as well.

Right now EHG has some roadmap and plans for 1.0 and beyond.
And jsut because you give them some extra funds doesn’t mean it will necessarily come earlier.

I would go as far as saying that EHG is probably pretty good monetarily atm and extra fund don’t always help. Unless they would just massively increase their staff, whic hI don’t know if they want to expand too rapidly. EHG just did a huge increase of staff before 0.9 and it put them in a hiatus in terms of devlopment because brining all the new staff on board is a huge on-boardign task.

I wouldn’t say money is what’s preventing them from branching out to consoles. It’s probably development hours, and uncertainty.

The former of which is (partially) solveable with IRL currency.
