Fulgurite core node and Tornado questions

Hi, in the build planner, when I equip ‘chance to shock on hit’ items like Ocearon, it shows up as shock chance, but will that count for fulgurite core?

Also, if I want to spec Tornado to cast storm bolts, would incrementing the cast speed node enhance the storm bolt frequency further or does it only relate to how quickly I can cast Tornadoes?

Yes, any generic shock chance that doesn’t specify specific type of skill types.

Cast Speed does note affect frequency of procs, unless specifically stated otherwise.

In this case only the follow up node in the skill spec tree affects the frequency.
