Frustratingly unplayable due to damage spikes

First off, didn’t read the entire argument. While I do agree with you that there is a group of searing ARPG purists on these forums, I do believe the Bloodline Glade echo is properly tuned for its rewards, having wiped numerous times on it before picking up a few upgrades which made the fight trivial (2K HP, Maxed Crit Avoidance, 60% Dodge, 40% Glancing Blow). I would say there’s way too much visual clutter, and the Discharge ability needs some tweaks regarding cast time / damage / hitbox.

Secondly, you rightly pinpointed the cherrypicking tendency and lack of nuance. Yeah, it’s seldom easier to provide a full-on response rather than taking the mental gymnastics route. What matters even more is to be able to praise EHG when they excel, but in contrast, call them out when they screw up. And certainly not to be focussed on either side of the battlefield.
All in all, intellectual honesty. It’s nothing special.

Ah that is true, I’m not very familiar with ward builds, or warlock builds, but looking over that warlock planner I couldn’t see any sources of ward generation.

I could of course be wrong and there is a source of ward generation, but even adding in 2000 ward to the build still has a fairly low max hit of 4136 for phys damage. But I do not know if that is a realistic average ward number.

The build in question:

No ward at all.

Amazing.

its not in the patch notes cuz they didnt increase the campigns difficulty

even mike said in discord everything they did to increase the difficulty is in the patch notes. heres a link to what mike said

as you can see here the fact the patch notes say nothing about campign difficulty increase means they didnt do that

mike even says there is no hidden changes. as well as said everything that we intentionally did to change difficulty is in the patch notes

the damage scaling for certain boss encounters like Fading Brink and Rampage Coast seems out of whack. It’s just really silly for pet builds to have their minions obliterated because Rift beasts cast things that players are supposed to dodge and pets can not be directed to move out of them quickly enough.
