I walk into Thatima (sp?) from Liath’s Road and the game softlocks. I am up to date on my software and hardware. I am not running any background programs. I have the side quest to take Liath’s books to Thatima and the main quest to go there as well.

Try to reduce the graphics settings to low and check again.
After the fourth try it finally worked. Thx for the suggestion though. Haven’t had a problem since.
