I seem to experience sporadic frame rate drops - from an average of around 50fps to < 20fps, sometimes after immediately starting the game and sometimes later. The FPS is instantly restored to 50fps when changing any graphics setting to another value and back again.
I have the same issues, it’s when you go into a new area you loss about 30 fps and then you jsut select another resolution and then go back to the one you came in on and you get your 30 frames back, can replicate in every area.
I’ve determined a bit of more exact issue for me in FPS drops. When I’m speedrunning and there are ton of mobs following me, then I usually notice significant drops. Also remember getting huge drops in last chapter.
I have the same issue. After some testing, it seem to be tied to my habbit of alt+tab while the game load a new echo. I havent been able to reproduce this every time.
Maybe the game struggle to load everything proprelly when in background.
