Noted that when selecting the passive ability Forgemaster Might, to enable being able to use 2H weapon and shield, that after allocating node you get the damage and attack speed debuff (seen via the character sheet). But when I then equip a shield the debuff applies again.
I’m seeing the same thing. Also, the haste part of the passive doesn’t seem to be working at all. Haste is still giving move speed, and doesn’t grant added block chance.
EDIT: Actually, I’m pretty sure it’s just the less attack speed being applied twice, not the less damage. I hit a dummy with a basic attack before and after allocating the passive, and both hits did the same damage. Also you can see in the character sheet that the -20% to all of the “Increased X Damage” only applies after equipping a shield, not when allocating the passive.
Can confirm, definitely something wrong with attack speed at least. But some other attacking stats are also changing I think, for some reason. Tooltip dps goes from 67k to 61k with just a passive and 37k with a shield equipped.
This passive is causing more penalties than it should, I suppose.

I have doubts if the damage penalty is also applying correctly, this “20% less damage” seems to be much more than 20%.
Definitely needs to be looked at. This is basically class breaking, since it’s a big part of the appeal of FG at the moment.
Once again picked a bugged node to make a build around…sigh.
