I’ve had consistent problems with the Forge not working, where clicking the Shatter or Forge button does nothing. I think I managed to reproduce it just now using these steps:
Open the game, log in, enter game with a character.
Opened my stash and retrieved 2 items to inventory. Closed the stash interface.
Opened the Forge interface. Shatter the 2 items successfully. Closed the forge interface.
Opened the stash and retrieved another item to inventory. Closed the stash interface.
Opened the Forge interface. Attempt to shatter the item. Clicking the Shatter button does nothing. (When this occurs, Forging also doesn’t work.)
I’m not sure if all of these exact steps are needed. I believe it has something to do with opening a new stash/shop interface after having shattered an item during a Forge session. Relogging fixes this problem.
I’m not sure how to reproduce this exactly but it happens almost every session I play. Maybe it has to do with leaving Runes of Shattering in the forge window, and most recently it happened after I bought Runes of Shattering and sent them to the Forge from my Inventory.
I JUST had this happen again, and it occurred right after I:
Clicked on the merchant (in the after-monolith area) to open the dialog box.
Closed the dialog box by moving away toward the stash, not by selecting any of the options.
(I then opened my stash, grabbed an item for testing, closed the stash, opened the Forge interface, shift+right clicked the item to move it to the Forge, and clicked the Shatter button a bunch of times. The Shatter button had stopped working.)
This was after a long-ish session where the Forge worked fine for most of it.
