Forge panel open/close sound change!

Why was this done!? It wasn’t necessary, and its really starting to annoy me. I get that we wanted to update sounds, but this one was not needed and just made things worse.

There is no difference between opening the inventory and opening the forge panel and the sound EHG chose for the forge panel open/close is jarring to say the least. It’s kinda cool the first couple of times you do it, but after that, it really starts to grate on you.

PLEASE REVERT THIS CHANGE BACK TO WHAT YOU HAD BEFORE…

No one will care, and it won’t irritate or annoy anyone either. Some things are better left unchanged.

After fiddling with the sound slider options, I made this issue bearable by reducing the user interface volume to 40% instead of the default 73% for anyone else not liking the change.

Other “UI” settings I have tweaked this patch are:

  • Slightly raised Tooltip scaling - to bump the font size up

  • HUD scaling at .78 - Menus only show .8, but you can type in the amount (very cool)

Now, if EHG will add the “Area level” to the base UI, just under the mini-map so I don’t have to keep toggling the map overlay, very helpful when leveling and before corruption.

I will say a huge “Thank you” to EHG for even adding these options, they really help us customize our experience to make the game more immersive and enjoyable.
