It rather provocative with the latest status update claiming that most ppl play fine. Yes that is true in the very off hours. As soon as it pushes 130k+ concurrent everything halts. Last 4 hours now it has been more or less impossible. Most of the times i just cant login, get the message that online mode is unavailable. Sometimes i get through, then it may work ok for some mins, then it just stops being able to zone etc for ages. It is even worse than at launch. Please atleast update us beyond that provovative last statement that says most ppl play fine.
As a side thought here that we could try and check ourselves. Those players that do not have problems, how you downloaded the full game after release? I am wondering if it could matter that i have had the beta for ages and just updated that at release.
I played beta and updated on release. My experience, playing at all hours, has been everything working as expected other than moving to a new zone during peek hours. In those cases it may take 2-3 minutes to get zoned in. No login issues. Nothing like “everything halts”. Currently 59 and working through monoliths.
No. It’s not a YOU problem. It’s the backend. And you can’t solve it as a player by doing some strange stuff.

People are updating their printer drivers and accidentally connect to a server. This is a coincidence. Updating printer drivers is not the solution to play LE.
Also there are no secret command lines that magically solve the connection issues.
And it has nothing to do with the download on steam.
We’re approached the highest peak so far already and it’s very early on a Friday at least for the US. I think this weekend there’s going to be a sizable influx of players. I know many dad gamers who are very excited to play that haven’t tried yet who will be after work and all weekend. I hope the EHG team is caffeinated and ready!
