Flame Ward bug (Causes armour and protections to be lower after effect)

I noticed today that when i was using an ability on my sorcerer called “Flame Ward” that my armour and protections would be lowered after the ability had worn off. The only way to get my armour and protection stats back to their original stat was by unequipping and re-equipping my gear. But if I were to use flame ward again it would once again reduce my stats. I have a Imgur link here with 3 screenshots all provided in this 1 link displaying my stats and gear before, during, and after using Flame Ward. https://imgur.com/gallery/vHihDtl This bug seems to happen 100% of the time while using flame ward on my character.

EDIT: It seems that my pictures are not in the correct order on Imgur so make sure to read the descriptions under each picture i posted. I believe the correct order is middle picture, bottom picture and then the top picture. My apologies!

Let me know if there are any other details or information you need me to provide!

I don’t think there’s a bug here, just a bit of misunderstanding (and lack of clarity on our part). If you watch your character sheet until you run out of Ward (shown above the health globe), your stats should return to normal, as they did when I tested.

The amount of protection you have is the second number under each damage type in the character sheet. Protections increase how much effective health you have against that damage type, which results in you taking a percentage less damage. This percentage is automatically calculated for you in the character sheet.

When you gain Ward (from Flame Ward or otherwise), your total health pool (health + ward) increases, but the amount of protections you have stays the same. This means the percentage goes down, because you have more health.

We do plan to explain this better, but hopefully this helps!

And this is why I suggested that getting rid of the % might be a good idea as it confuses people.
