Flame Reave's range cut in half

Initially opened thinking it was related to Rhythm of Flame, but respecing RoF it seems in general that the range of Flame Reave is now cut almost in half as compared to 0.9b. The Flame Reave cast consuming all Rhythm of Flames stacks is roughly the same size as Flame Reave in 0.9b.

It almost seems like either Dancing Flames was not calculated correctly in 0.9b, or it’s incorrect now, but either way Flame Reave now has almost no dicernable range anymore. It would be great to get an official statement if a bug with Dancing Flames has been fixed and it was broken in 0.9b, or if this is an overcorrection now. Thank!

Can confirm. Prepatch Flame Reave with Rolling Flames was hitting the edge of the screen, now it has about half the radius. :frowning:

Yes, I can confirm that too. I respect fully (despecialized the skill and respecialized it) and it is still a lot smaller. That just happened after the first patch today.

I guess I’ll throw this in as well. People in the Discord were saying it was bugged so that essentially before the fix this patch Rhythm of Fire was applying all the time. But I tried taking Rhythm of Fire, even with both Rhythm of Fire and Rolling Flames the range is nowhere near where it was, so there must be more to it.

Rythm of fire gives no width at all at the moment. It’s gaining range and I think damage, but the width is exactly the same as the first 3 hits.

Its horrible atm, if its staying like this, rip the build.
Not only the range is cut in half, but also the damage.
It seems the flame reave stacks are canceling the enchanting weapon buff as well.

They really need to fix the range/width on this flame Reave spell point, it is still bugged, and the range don’t apply. Even if you spec on the far left of the Flame Reave tree with increased ranged, you still don’t get any increased range. I hope they fix this soon, it’s been a month now.

I think the previous range was unintended. But still the width is bugged. Since there is no difference between the first 3 hits or 4th. It just gains range and damage, width stays the same.
