Fit and Finish changes

  1. The biggest change that would be really helpful to new players such as my self, is an improvement in the class specific affixes. I recently got an item called “The Claw”, it told me I could summon wolves up to a maximum number of my companions, now this may be obvious to an experienced player, but I did not understand this affix completely, and I was looking for a summon wolves skill, I even went into combat thinking maybe they will summon automatically, and it was only when I asked the community for help on this was it explained to me that it is a Primalist only skill and I cannot use it. With this in mind, could you please update the affixes explaining this, maybe having the class next to it, much like in Diablo 3 or Grim Dawn.

  2. Maybe have an option to toggle transferring all items into the crafting inventory automatically, instead of clicking on store crafting items every time.

  3. A progress bar under each skill we have equipped on the skill pane window, so we don’t have to keep switching into the skill it’s self when we want to see how far along we are to unlocking the next level.

Just my few minor suggestions that I think would go a long way to help add fit and finish to the game, especially that first point. I will add to this as I think of more  I just want to help make this game as good as it can be, it’s so far incredible.

Thanks for your time.

Hey! I’m pretty much new to this game also, but i believe it’s more about your reading skills than guides. When it comes to any unique item you can always use key combination ctrl + alt to actually read what each affix does. Have fun

I don’t believe it tells you which class it is for

It does infact say “Affect the Summon Wolves Skill”(when you press alt), which is a minor hint but as @BigSmoke said, some mroe detaield indicator that this particular skill is a Primalist Skill could indeed help alot of unexperienced players.

It will also help us build alts too, as if I know I have an item that belongs to a Primalist I can stash it along with other Primalist items and try other builds

My only concern with #2 is that if they automatically go into the crafting stash, some will be confused as to where the items they just picked up went as they aren’t in your inventory (where everything else goes).

Grim Dawn solved a similar issue with given the players an option in the option menu they have to tick.

In Grim Dawn this is about Crafting Components, that drop of monster, they need to be collected manually. As soon as you tick the box you just need to run over them and auto collect them.

EHG could do a similar thing with LE’s affix shards and runes. As soon as you tick the box in the options, the items get transfered to the crafting stash when picked up. This way player will learn the system and when they get used to it can make it a bit more comfortable to use

Did they? I don’t remember that. Ut it sounds like a good idea (toggled off by default).

Yep they added that with either Forgotten Gods Expansion or one of the major patches follow by it, can’t rememebr exactly and to lazy to look it up exactly.

But they included a dev commentary on that patch note i remember. They specificlly want new players to “learn” about this kind of loot. And as they progress further and the quantity of loot increases they wanted to give players the options to quicken the looting procces with it.

Option is called “Auto-Loot Materials” in the gameplay menue. It Also loots Purple Crafting Materials Like Ancient Heart, Tainted Brain Matter etc.
