Firebrand range increase not recognized by "Move to melee attack enemies that are out of range"

the current status is: firebrand (skill for spellblade-mage) has (heavily) increased range on higher stack, but the extra cast distance seems to be unrecognized by “Move to melee attack enemies that are out of range”. So when I cast fire brand at high stacks: if a mob is located far away from the toon and the firebrand would hit it (at its tip), the toon still walks a long distance and cast the fire brand from where it would hit the mob if there were 0 fire brand stacks.

The “Move to melee attack enemies that are out of range” should just move to avoid hitting nothing, not moving all the way such that firebrand would hit with the tip at 0 stack. I have turned off this but it hits air at low stacks, so this is also undesireable.

Hi! If the overall behaviour is exactly as you described it, I would also make a bug report in-game (preferably) or in the forum with this issue.
It sounds like an unintended behaviour that may affect more actions than just Firebrand if there’s any other with a similar mechanic, so I think it would be better to report it to them as a bug.
