I love the filter system, and think it’s great that I can recolor drops to find specific things I’m looking for.

What I’d love to see is more integration with the tooltip system so it’s easier to see things I already have in my inventory and stash that match the filter set I have created. Being able to see these more clearly would help me sift through the massive amount of items I get in the game, and would also help me make sure my filters are working as expected, because it’s very easy to mess up a filter and not realize I’m leaving a bunch of loot on the floor because of a filter mistake.

Couple things I’d like to see:

  1. Some indication on the icon of the item at a top level that shows how many of my filter selection this matches. e.g. If I’m looking for boots with at least 4 affixes, if that item matches 3 of them I see 3 dots or something on the icon showing how well this item matches my filter at a glance.

  2. When I pull up the tooltip for an item it gives the affix a treatment showing which affixes match my filters for that item. Italics maybe. At first I thought color would be nice, but that might conflict with the exalted purple for an affix which is useful information to have.

I also agree with the post above with the changes that need to be made to the filter system. I would also like to add a way to dynamically change what affixes to show/recolour based on the amount you already have.

ex. I want to recolour items with the Hybrid Health affix while I have less than 50 Hybrid Health shards.

This would greatly help grabbing more rare affixes that you do not have a lot of yet. It is mainly for grinding instead of looking for gear to wear but can severely cut down my in-game time just looking through my items and shards for what to shatter
