With the addition of the Exiled Mage , Acolyte is the only class we are not able to fight. Rogue, Primalist and Sentinel are waiting for us in the arena.
I am sure EHG will have something cool for us, but here is my idea.
Acolyte theme is death. Necrotic, zombie, undead etc…
So you when you are in a echo and you kill mobs, you have a chance of triggering an Acolyte. She is attracted by the life of your enemies fading away.
You would have a higher chance of triggering the encounter if you kill massive packs of ennemies at once, or a lot of ennemies in very rapidly.
I like the randomness of the Exiled Mage, so she could have differents builds.
Now the big question is what would be the reward?
Maybe a portal randomly opens to a small map, where you can battle her minions on the way to fighting her. Maybe she’s offended by your haphazard killing, and lack of respect for the dead. Who knows. But something that gives the player the option to face off against a mini-boss-type npc, instead of randomly ambushing the player with a fight that (should be) quite challenging (more like exlied mages in the campaign, as opposed to them in the monolith).
Acolyte is a student of Mages and both study magic so we could have exiled(or sealed) Acolytes too (experimental rings/amulets/relics) Kinda tame idea I know.
Off topic but Exiled mages feel much better in T4 Sanctum
