I’m not a big gamer or someone with a lot of game development knowledge, so I can’t probably explain this properly.
Basically, every area I enter, I feel like it’s nothing new. If you’ve played the other prominent game of this genre (not the AAA one), you’ll see that every zone feels different. Either it’s the zoom or the décor or whatever the term is.
Some monsters feel different when fighting them, but most monsters feel the same to be honest.
I’m getting my butt kicked and I’m okay with it, but I’m worried about if I can play this for as long as I would want to.
Thanks.
This is largely because this game is in beta. They haven’t released probably half of the game or more yet. So end-game is limited to arena and MoF which, as I understand it, aren’t even in their final forms yet but allow end-game like play. This allows them to better balance classes and gear as people flesh out characters.
Makes sense. Thanks!
Uhm what? Every era has a different setting so every area is different compared to other eras. I think one of the bigger issues is the stiff gameplay. It always feels the same and the animations of the chars and the enemys are lackluster but this might be a beta issue. I think the differences in zones and eras are the best thing in the game so far but everything arround it isn’t that polished.
