Hi 11th-HG-Team,
I don’t usually bother giving feedback on games, but in the case of LE I’m making an exception. Why is that? Because I had a blast playing LE last night, but it took some work on my part to get there. I am a first time LE player and I hope the feedback will be helpful from that perspective:
I think the game should give more guidance to new players, especially on crafting. I did not really understand (from the in-game crafting guide) what I was supposed to be doing. However, after reading a couple of Maxroll guides on the item system in general and the crafting system in particular, I got the hang of it immediately - and got completely hooked. What an amazing system! It certainly deserves some sort of introduction in the game itself!
The same goes for the various systems within the game world. It would have been great to have some sort of tutorial box pop up when I encountered my first exiled mages, nemesis, etc. - I mostly ignored/didn’t understand why or what these things were and why they were special/worth doing until I took the time to read up on it on Maxroll as well. Now I know and I’m hooked too.
Finally, even though I’m still quite early in my LE journey, I feel like this is going to be a lasting friendship. Having played pretty much every major alternative in the recent past, LE already stands out. If there is anything sub-par compared to the likes of D4 or PoE2 etc, I would say that the team should keep working on improving the graphics department (DLSS would be awesome) and the sound engineering. In this regard, it is understandable that the huge budget / manpower advantage that D4 or PoE 2 have makes it somewhat unfair to compare LE to them, these are still the areas that I think would benefit most from further improvement, next to the two aspects mentioned above.
But the graphics and sound certainly do not detract from my enjoyment of the game and I look forward to spending much more time with it - keep up the good work 11th HG - you have certainly earned my purchase of the Supporter Packs!

I agree with most of what you say here.
But also please add an option to skip those tutorials like in PoE for non-first timers
Edit: You can find a lot of crafting info in the in-game manual if that helps.

Yes, the in game guide does cover some aspects, but I think it is too generic and does not really paint a good picture of what is actually possible.
What I would prefer over the in game guide could be a small tutorial quest that guides you through an actual crafting process and which provides you with some starter materials to craft with. For example, the quest could give you a base item without prefixes/suffixes, explain that each item is based on such a base, that the base determines the predetermined implicit affixes, that you can add two prefixes and suffixes, could then provide you with a few shards and glyphs of hope, request you to add one prefix and affix and then request you to upgrade at least one of them or so, also explaining what a cricitcal craft is and how the glyph of hope can help preserve forging potential etc. - learning by doing
There could be an additional “advanced” crafting quest later explaining runes. The first quest could also explain where you will eventually receive more crafting materials from…it could also be different, but anything to guide you through the actual rpcoess would be amazing. Perhaps also convey some easy tips/concepts such as use lower tier affixes to upgrade first and try to upgrade higher lvl affixes only at the “end” when the forging potential left is low to maximize efficiency…

as someone with 300hrs in LE… the most lasting and annoying of these issues is the character voiceovers…
listening to the enemies and my character repeat the same single voiceover line over and over and over (while playing an amazing game!) gets pretty tiring and lame.
Try using an AI workflow for generating voiceovers, so you can cheaply generate audio for 10 voiceovers for each character/npc and vary them a little… or, i dunno… pay some voice actors to make another 10 lines per character
