Feedback from a brand new player with ARPG experience

Hi. I am brand new to Last Epoch, but have a lot of experience with ARPGs in general: thousands of hours of D2, some D3, and 10k+ hours in PoE.

Crafting Materials
I didn’t initially realize that there was a “Transfer Crafting Items” button on the Inventory screen. I was confused as to why I couldn’t craft when I had materials in my Inventory and my Stash.

I also don’t understand why these materials simply to go your “Materials” inventory automatically when picked up. Given the number of nice QoL features (no ID scrolls, yeah!), this seems like a simple one that might also avoid confusion.

The Map
The Map, combined with the different timelines, made it a little confusing about where I needed to go next. Given the size of the map, some kind of “fog of war” system could help keep players on the right track.

I think (not certain about this) that there were some cases where on the Map, there was a line to a zone that could not be accessed from the Chapter I was on. I think “Great College” could (maybe?) only be reached after doing something later in the story. In such cases, maybe there should be a dotted line or something else that doesn’t imply that the zone is accessible.

Not having any monster level indications for zones further prevented me from knowing which areas were intended for later.

Maj’Elka (Chapter 9)
BUG: When I first entered the city and approached the center of town, there was a cut-scene. The first time I re-entered the city, this cut-scene tried to play again, but the NPC was hovering backwards (facing the temple) in the air and there was no audio/CC.

The Story
I definitely need to replay the game and pay some more attention to the Lore, but when I killed Majasa I was a little confused. What happened with Rahyeh? I was also confused when Heorot died because I wasn’t sure how that happened. Also, whatever happened to the Lance of Heorot and getting it imbued? It felt like things ended abruptly. Just starting endgame, so perhaps there are some answers there, but from a narrative perspective, it feels like there should be a smoother transition.

Druid Action Bar Issues
During the campaign playing as a Druid, I’ve had my Action Bars cleared of all skills. This happened at least half a dozen times, but couldn’t discern any pattern as to what caused this.

I also once had a situation after turning into a Werebear where the “Return to Human Form” icon was replaced with something. I was able to return to Human Form when I ran out of rage.

In general, Action Bar management for Druid felt bad since it could never set it up how I wanted. It seems like each form should have its own Action Bar setup which the game remembers .
