Feedback for Season 3 // SSF SC Falconer

Hi,
Here’s my feedback on Season 3.
I played SSF SC Falconer Umbral Blades and killed normal Aberroth.

Firstly, I want to say this game is an amazing one! It was my second season, and last season I played the almost unkillable Sentinel, who facetanked basically every Mechanic. This time I wanted to try something else, and damn, it was a great experience! I really had to learn all the mechanics of all the sub-bosses and had to dodge a lot… I really had to “play” the game. Very great moments when you killed a boss and made progress.
Crafting in this game is in an amazing state already, and I can see room for some other runes or glyphs coming. I’m excited for this.
The game in general became much more difficult, I feel, and this is very healthy for the game! Some mobs might need some rebalancing (I did die a bit too much during mapping), but in general, I think you did hit the spot!

Here my core feedback points :

  1. You did progress on the Item Filter, but it’s still not as good - i mean, not as exciting - like in POE. I’m missing the Divine Drop sound, and I would like to have something similar, for example, for a Havoc Rune, and I want to be able to edit this (at the moment, I can’t edit specific Rune Drop Sounds). The same is true for some Glyphs and Dungeon Keys.

  2. Furthermore, I noticed, or maybe I’m wrong, but you can’t create stash tabs for T7 exalted items? Would like to do that

  3. When switching one piece of Gear - directly equipped item—with +1 level to skills to another one also with +1 level to skills … you still have to respec the skill points, and a random skill point is removed … this is really annoying, and I always had to recheck the guide.

  4. I would like to have a kind of a hideout coming to the game.

  5. It would be nice to have some kind of indicator of which timeline you did last… because sometimes after some longer break, I forget where I was.

  6. The league mechanic is quite nice, and I like to see it going core, but I would add some useful midrange items.

Cheers and keep it on !
Daniel

It’s not a lrague mechanic like PoE has, they’re currently still adding core stuff. We won’t be getting PoE-like league mechanics for a while yet.

It’s not random, there’s an algorithm behind it (to stop people from using it to respec from aoe to single target, for example), but it is annoying when you switch gear & the total number of points to a skill is unchanged.

I thought there was but for the life of me i can’t remember.

That was a “hack” with the old glyphs of envy. You’d slot one on any piece of gear and it would tell you which timeline it would increase, which was the last one you were in.
With the change to the glyph and moving stability to the temporal keys, this is no longer possible.

Yes, that’s what I was thinking of.
