Feedback for 1.2 Just give me something to achieve

Hey.

Love 1.2 really, the combat feels Good, Stashtabs are Big, everything feels awesome from my perspective…

but…

I don’t know what to do. currently i farm Monolith for Abberath, but why do i do it?
The Loot is Cool yeah but i can build around the unique’s so i dont need it really.
For the Fight itself? yeah i could, but i dont into that Stuff…
and even then… what to do next? another one? so i can dumb the Uniques in the Tab an forget them? Try to hunt Lp2+, for Items that i don`t really need?

i don’t have a goal, i don’t have a “why do i play?”. for the Fun, sure, but that lasts until another game hits, and that feeling is terrible, i don´t play because i want to achieve something
(my build feels very good and i don`t need a big Upgrade anymore, just to 1-10% Min-Max), i play… because i play. Yeah i could grind for 1000+ Corruption but… why?

So… my idea is, why not make a compendium? a In game Checklist for various things, such as Boss Kills, Unique Drops, Blessings unlocked etc.
i made one myself in spreadsheet just so i can “check” things and feel a progress but its not the same.

i dont want to shout “Steam Achievements!!” this things are permanently and when it hits 100%, the problem is back. Also… there are a few people who don’t want them, if i read this right in the past.
I don`t want MTX just because i killed XXX Mobs, that shouldnt be a “FOMO” Thing, just a
“Look what i made, what i earned for my playtime”

So… yeah, thats my suggestion, thanks for reading

ah and…
Sorry for my English, i`m not a english native

I’d say there are goals to shoot for in the game. But you don’t find those satisfying, so that’s fine. I think a compendium to fill out would be kind of cool if that’s more your jam. Achievements could be neat too depending on how they did them.

Not to compare, but PoE’s challenges each league (also, going back a bit further, D3’s season achievements) are perfect for this sort of “need.” I also like to have a list of various things to strive for, and season-based achievements are a great way to do that. I do hope EHG considers including something like this at some point.
