I would be happy if there was less delay between killing enemies and them dropping their loot and if the dropping itself was faster.
The death animations of some enemies are somewhat long and the loot only drops once it’s over. On the other hand, the loot from prophecies drops immediately when the death animation starts. This is kind of strange, but welcome, at least outside of boss fights. Otherwise, I may already be almost a screen away and have to turn back, which is annoying, especially on builds that need to continue hitting or killing stuff (e.g. Lich/Wearbear to remain in form).
A similar issue is the rather lengthy drop procedure if there is a lot of loot, e.g. with the chest after completing a monolith echo. You just have to wait for more than a second, which I would rather not. Just drop it all at once or increase the speed ten times.
On a related note: I wouldn’t mind if the loot from a single enemy or chest wasn’t concentrated on a single spot on the ground, but distributed over an area that is bigger the more loot drops. Because then the loot labels won’t be as far from the actual location of the loot - currently it is always a bit odd if I press on the label and my character runs in the opposite direction.
Oh and another idea: I wouldn’t mind if there was a mode were there isn’t any loot inside an echo (or some similar activity), but instead there only was loot at the end (maybe not as much, but higher in quality?), similar to Greater Rifts in Diablo 3. Then we could concentrate on the moment-to-moment gameplay without being interrupted to look at the drops.
And one last thing: Since patch 1.1 (I think) there is quite a long delay between selecting a loot label and seeing the tooltip when playing with a controller. This was way better before that.
