After dying several times to Lagon in the Eye of the Storm quest, I turned the game off for a while. When I turn the game back on and try and re-load straight back in to the boss fight, the game stops on the loading screen and I have to use Alt-F4 to escape.
Sometimes the stability bar has reduced when I log back in, but the game will freeze again if i try and join the boss fight.
I can fight Lagon again by doing another echo first then doing the Eye of the Storm boss fight.
This happened on 2 different characters this week.

Did you try verifying steam files yet?
Afternoon, I have just shutdown the game, verified game files and restarted the game.
I went to the Eye of the Storm quest directly without doing any other echos and the game is stuck on the loading screen, the bottom right loading icon is rotating and the music is playing but nothing else.
I waitied 5 minutes then had to use Alt F4 to get out of the game (i can also right click the game and close in the task menu bar at the bottom of the desktop)
Would you like me to try anything else?
