I’m just getting into this season. Completed my first lineage in primal hunt season mechanic and got the Evolutions End Amulet to drop.
For the most part I like it. Except I feel like the
“when a hit leaves a boss or champion below 40% health you summon a rift beast for 15 seconds (40 second cooldown)”
Isn’t very useful. I’m currently still playing campaign, by the time it’s summoned I have already defeated the boss/champion and it really doesn’t last long enough after to be of any use.
Will this be more useful in endgame? I honestly don’t know. If someone can let me know with a comment, I’d appreciate it. As of now, that part of the amulet had me excited, but that excitement quickly faded.
My suggestion would be raise how long its summoned for or raise the 40%
Yes, fights start to take substantially longer, so the use-case should be bigger.
I don’t know how long it lasts though, can’t say much for that.
It’s not likely to be much more useful. It’s a leveling item. The rift beast is more supposed to help builds that are slow against bosses during the campaign than anything else.
I don’t even know if it counts as a minion, to be buffed by your minion modifiers. If it is, it might have fringe uses in minion builds.
Even in minion builds I dont see it popping off, it does not have scaling or a skill tree etc.
the amulet is very good, the rift beast is just flavor.

Yeah, I’ll have to wait and see. If anything changes I’ll be back with an update or some more refined feedback. Just a bummer bc when I picked that up I had that urge of excitement when I seen that affix lol
