Is it a must? I wear them but the longer I play the more I think it’s not worth all the lost stats.
It basically gives you move speed, which you can get on other boots as well.
+1 Roots is meh, since it goes to either leech or shred (can do with less).

You don’t need them. If you really want vines to rage sustain you could specc fury leap for maul and get tear of the forest.
But you really don’t need that. There is enough rage sustain in the werebear tree itself taht if you don’t spam mindlessly entangling roots your will be fine
