Eterra Monthly: July Edition 2026

Hello Travelers,

Welcome to the July edition of Eterra Monthly! We know Season 5 is on everyone’s mind and we are excited to share in this month’s edition: The Season 5 teaser trailer and release date! Additionally, we’ve got a build spotlight on a Bleed Bladedancer from Max Pita. We’re also giving you a glimpse into our furry friends in a new feature called Pets of Epoch.

Season 5 Teaser Trailer

We know you’ve all been itching for it and here it is, the Season 5 teaser trailer. Welcome to Rage of the Frostborn!

Build Spotlight

This month’s build comes from Max. This is a mobile bleed build built around Dancing Strikes, using dash attacks and Shurikens to stack bleed on everything nearby, then popping it with Puncture.

The build leans on attack speed as its core stat. More attack speed means more Dancing Strikes, which stacks Trickling Cuts for extra damage over time and converts a portion of that attack speed straight into more bleed damage. Shurikens orbit as a Blade Shield, pierce through enemies, and shred physical resistance to open enemies up for more bleed damage. Puncture closes the loop, detonating built-up bleed for burst damage on tougher targets. Salt the Wound converts critical strike multiplier into physical penetration for bleed, which is why the build stacks crit multiplier despite never landing a crit. Gear centers on the Weaver set, using two Weaver weapons (Ataraxia and Weaver’s Gift) for the set bonus, with melee attack speed as the top gearing priority.

Strengths:

  • High bleed chance and damage over time
  • Strong AoE clear via Shurikens and Blade Storm
  • Good mobility with Dancing Strikes and Shift
  • Explosive single-target burst via Puncture

Weakness:

  • Gear-dependent (Weaver weapons are hard to acquire)
  • Low health pool limits pushing higher corruption
  • Requires careful stacking of attack speed and crit multiplier to work
  • Not a beginner-friendly build

Pets of Epoch: Archie

Welcome to Pets of Epoch, where we take a peek into Eleventh Hour Games’ very own furry loved ones. In today’s highlight, we’d like to introduce you to EHG_Muffin’s precious Chihuahua, Archie!

Name: Archie
Age: 2 years old

If they were a Class or Mastery in Last Epoch, what would they be?
Rogue 100% - He is an agile little thing!

If you were to ask Muffin about this little cutie pie, he’d say that Archie is the goofiest dog. He also loves to cuddle and often wakes up with him lying on his pillow, nestled and cozy. He loves to eat ice cubes, loves to roll and flop around on the carpet like a weirdo.

Mike’s Teasers

We shared Perilous Reflection this month during one of our Dev Q&A streams, ahead of Mike taking a well-deserved break.

What’s next?

That’s a wrap on another Eterra Monthly. In August, we will be hard at work getting Season 5 ready for you all and can’t wait to share more details with you all.

Is there any specific reason Perilous Reflection is a shield? Not only do Acolytes have no synergy with shields, they actually have anti-synergy because of Wands of the Fallen. Couldn’t it be a focus or something?

over 6 months! more than 6 months for a seasonal release… come on guys… Your not even up for 2 seasonal releases a year.

Oh joy, another season that’s taking more than half a year to release. Totally not yet another sign that the game wasn’t 1.0-ready.

What was the point of being picked up by Krafton at this point? The game’s been teetering on 1k for the past few months, and you guys still can’t release seasons within 4 months (like you promised).

Hey, at least it’s not season 2 where it took 9 fucking months. The game was somehow still on only season 1 on the game’s anniversary.

To all people crying in the comments: EHG STUDIO WAS LITERALLY SOLD TO KRAFTON! Its a lot of things to sort out now, just wait for season 5 and chill, Im here since alpha, and will be for expansion and the future whatever it is

It’s kind of funny how you guys are making us wait 6 months (again), and all you have to show is a single unique item. FFS, you went more into a pet than, you know, what we came here for.

No disrespect for the pupper, of course, or even the feature itself, but the way it’s on here in addition to the build spotlight just screams “oops, we still got nothing to show for July” (the fact this newsletter is also posted a week into August doesn’t help). Again, not against including those two, but they’re just blatant filler. Just like putting balance changes and new uniques as separate bullet points on the roadmap.

It’s been months since they were bought bro. How long does it take to “sort things out”? You’d think they’d make a public post about why they take the length of 2 or 3 seasons just to release 1.

As I said in a previous comment, we had to wait 9 months for a season, and that was before Krafton came in.

this is due to playstation release…and they just hired a lot this year, as mike said the frequency will improve

Thankyou for chosing my Bleed Bladedancer as the guide of the month, I was no realy expecting that.

It’s been over 2 years since 1.0. It should not take this long to release content at a reasonable pace.

At last, guys :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Bro the sale happened more than a year ago. So, no. They didn’t literally just sell to Krafton. They had a full year to get their things in order.

“If you hurry, you’ll make people laugh.”

"Measure seven times, cut once.

“The hasty foot stumbles.”

“He who is not in a hurry, nothing can escape from him.”

Wait a second… Teasers… which actually let us know something reasonable?

What is this? What has happened to EHG? I think I’m having a mild heart attack right now, never would’ve believed it actually possible!

The teaser showed nothing noteworthy bro.

No, teaser singluar, not teasers plural…

There is a middle line between taking your time to not fuck things up/providing high quality stuff (which they aren’t doing a great job of TBH) & taking so long that all of the good will you’d built up over the past ~8 years evaporates & so many players leave that you can’t sustain your company and, I don’t know just randomly off the top of my head, have to sell your company to a shady publisher.

when does the open PTR start? :stuck_out_tongue:

Is it true that Archie is in Mike’s dev team and that the seasonal content for season 5 has taken extra long because they kept arguing about Archies idea for the season mechanic being finding and burying bones?
