Kind of shitty that I didn’t think to document or save the LOG file when this happened last night. At first I assumed this was the classic visual “bear bug” where you go naked, but this one was different.
I entered town, and got the Bear Bug while I was roaming the town. As I left town things went back to normal… or so I thought.
After killing the first pack of mobs, I went to loot and noticed that my inventory equipment slots were blank (but I wasn’t visually naked).
After opening and closing the inventory, my character model lost his pants. Opening and closing again and I lost my armor. I freaked out and tried it a few more times, by then I only visibly had my helmet left on my character.
I tried to swap an item in to the “empty slot” in my equipment slots, but it wouldn’t let me. It was not reacting. I then noticed that several pieces of my armor was unequipped in my inventory and one was on the floor. I quickly picked up these items, teleported back to town and restarted the game which in the end fixed it…
Panic attack left me flustered, but thought posting at least could bring some attention to the issue.
